Dear Friends/ Praying Friends,
Posted October 22, 2007
Thank you so much for your prayers! God has really blessed me.
I arrived in Hong Kong on 22nd August, while the Doulos was still in S. Korea. During the next weeks God prepared me for joining the international community on the Doulos. I spent time at Crossroads International. This group of people have prayed for my family for last 2 years. My brother also works with them. I was so excited to see how people of diffrent countres can work together if they all love God.
Mongolia is a land locked country. I coudn't wait for my first voyage. We sailed for 5 days from Hong Kong to Kota Kinabalu. God really touched my heart an this calm voyage. The ocean was amazing for me and God gave me such peace. I had no fear of being sea-sick!
During there two months I have really learnt that we can't measure God's love . In Mongolia we sing songs about God's love- it is wider than any ocean as high as the heavens, as deep as the ocean bed.
Now I have at last seen the ocean....... how great is my God!
I am now in Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia. This is an amazing country. Yesterday I went to a local church I enjoyed worshipping God with so many young local people. There is many young people want to change them live. We prayed together.
My prayer Reguests:
1. Please pray that God will teach me many things during my 2 years on board.
2. Please pray that my full financial support will be raised.
3. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister in Mongolia, 1 brother in Hong Kong / My parents both passed away./ Please pray that God will provide for all their needs. Pray that they will start walking closely with Jesus as well.
I will send a photo separatelly, as we cannot send or seceive large documents. Thank you so much for making in possible for me to be here.
I value
Blessings!
Tuya
Altantuya Ganbaatar’s Testimony
I was born in 1980 as the first daughter and forth child of a family with six children. I heard the Gospel about Jesus Christ in 1996 when I was 16, and I began to go to church. Church to me seemed a place to make many friends and have fun. But this didn't continue for long. Soon I left church again. That evening I understood God’s love and received Him. When I realized that God accepts me just as I am, that He loves me with a limitless love, that He has been with me every moment of my past, just waiting for me to come to Him, I cried a lot. I finally understood that no matter what I do, if I don’t have God, I will always be lonely. I realized in just how much darkness I had lived.
Since that time, I have always gone to church and I live holding fast to God. God made my dark life bright. There is nothing more valuable to me than He is. I’m so happy when I serve Him. I have come to desire to be with the people of God in His House forever and to help replace the fear and the darkness that is in many people’s hearts with the love of my God. Now I like to tell people where my joy, delight and my hope come from.
In 2003, God spoke to me through my leader, saying that He wants me to serve mothers and lead them after Jesus Christ. Immediately, I received this calling in my heart and soon started my own cell group with 3 people. As I started seeing God’s plan for their lives, I began to bring mothers to God. God opened my spiritual eyes more and showed me that there are so many women who don’t know God yet.
So I began to dream and pray every day about bringing the Gospel to women who had not yet received God’s love, telling them about Jesus Christ and ministering to them through the love with which God loved me. I used every opportunity God gave me and took steps of courage. Now I have 16 daughters in the faith.
When God gave our church a huge vision, He showed me that He has called me to the nations (our church’s vision is: “We will serve the nations and make disciples of Christ.”). This vision has brought me to see God’s plan and purpose for my whole life. God has graciously blessed me and my family and has given me opportunities to serve in the homes of people from many different countries. I have worked for Indian, Canadian, Chinese, British, New Zealand, Australian and Egyptian people. Even now God is changing my character and growing my faith that I may serve both Mongolians and people of other nations, people of widely differing world views, beliefs and characters. I believe that my present occupation is my first step towards serving the nations.
I want to tell people that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of mankind, that He desires to bring them from darkness to living in the light. Also I want to tell them that Jesus is our Savior. He paid the penalty for our sin. God loves you so very much. Walk with God every step of your life and live in His grace. ---
